The worth of tourism in the Albanian economy – Improved again in the first quarter of the year

The balance of the Albanian economy from tourism improved in the first quarter of the year. Data from the Bank of Albania show that the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic seems to have affected the travels of Albanians abroad rather than those of foreigners in Albania. For the first quarter, tourism revenues were worth 346 million euros, down from just two million euros compared to the first quarter of 2019.
