Toll of Nation’s Road will seriously affect Albanian exporting companies: Zusi

The toll for the Nation’s Road will seriously affect Albanian exporting companies that access this road.

The statement comes from the head of the Albanian Export Center, Alban Zusi, who said to TV SCAN that the companies to be more affected are those that operate in the field of building.

According to Zusi, this toll was imposed without any consultation with the business community, while also suggesting the steps that exporters need to take to reduce this tariff.

The toll has been opposed by the business community through protests.

Today some 150 trucks entered and left Morina Customs point empty in order to warn that they will not use the road.

Actually, the toll for the Nation’s Road is currently being tested, and a few days from now each vehicle is expected to pay for their passing.

For vehicles with 3 wheels this fee will be 2.5 euros, while for regular vehicles 5 euro, for buses and pickups 11.2 euro, for medium trucks 16.2 euro, and for heavy trucks 22.5 euro.
