Tourist to pay 35-45 euro for room on an average this tourist season
Foreign and domestic tourist have to pay an average of 35 euros to 45 euros a night if he chooses a hotel room both in Tirana and along the coast.
In an interview for SCAN TV, the head of the Hotel-Tourism Association Zak Topuzi and the head of the Albanian Tourist Union Rahman Kasa state that there is no significant increase in prices this year, compared to the previous year.
A persisting problem, according to Topuzi, is the lack of capacity and the low quality of service.
Our country continues to lag behind the region in this regard, excluding the new hotels where, according to the head of the Albanian Tourist Union, Rrahman Kasa, the first tourists of this season are delighted.
Currently, the number of beds that our country offers for this tourist is 70 thousand, at a time when a large number of foreign tourists are expected to visit the country.
But what is seen is that the market is formalized by a 6% reduction in VAT.
