Why is it so hard to find a job in Albania? – Craft graduates are punished by the lack of experience
Lack of experience is one of the main reasons why graduates of vocational secondary education in Albania do not find themselves in the labor market. According to a recently published report, provided by GIZ and the National Employment Service, it turns out that from the graduates who did not reach a job, 54 percent said they did not have the necessary experience.
In this regard, Albanian businesses have raised concerns several times about more professional practices at the enterprises due to the costs of staff training and the time required.
While 23 percent of them say that in the city or region where they live there are no jobs. Also, 23 percent of other respondents give different reasons why they cannot find a job. According to the report in Albania, the figure of those who fail to get a job after receiving a trade reaches 20 percent, or in the ratio 1 to 5. While the net salary of employees in these branches starts from 22 thousand ALL to a maximum of 50 thousand ALL in month.
