Wizz Air launches “low cost” Tirana-Budapest flights
Wizz Air airline officially launches “low cost” flights from Tirana to Budapest and vice versa.
The first plane landed Wednesday afternoon around 17:00 in Rinas, on board of which were traveling citizens and officials from the Albanian and Hungarian governments, who also inaugurated the new line.
Transport Minister Sokol Dervishaj spoke about the increase of number of similar flights in the future and the possibility that Albanians will be traveling with cheaper tickets.
For their part, the citizens seemed satisfied with the journey they had done. They stressed to TV SCAN that they had traveled with cheaper flight tickets.
Hungarian officials talked about negotiations with their Albanian counterparts and the European Union.
Hungarian Minister of State for Transport, Robert Homolya, said that this line is expected to have a positive impact on tourism between the two countries.
While the chair of Wizz Air airline talked about increasing the quality of services.
Wizz Air will offer flights between Tirana and Budapest twice a week, on Wednesday and Sunday.
