20.000 businesses have benefited from OSHEE’s payment schemes

Around 20 thousand businesses have benefited from power payment schemes, which are applied by the Electricity Distribution Operator OSHEE.

Representatives of OSHEE told SCAN TV that these figures cover the period since the launch of the easing schemes until August this year.

According to the company, this has also led to the reduction of old debts, by increasing revenues.

Meanwhile, all businesses that have unpaid liabilities created from 1 January 2007 to 31 December 2016 may still benefit from these schemes, since the Supervisory Council recently approved the extension of the deadline by the end of this year .

Thus, those subscribers who want to make an immediate payment of the obligation, benefit a 50% interest-rate reduction.

Also, non-household customers have the opportunity to settle the fixed obligation in monthly installments.

Procedures for all interested businesses are carried out at each point of the Electricity Distribution Operator.
