A “Task Force” for health is created – Rama: Keep the masks to avoid quarantine. Manastirliu: 3 difficult months await us

Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu presented on Tuesday a new unit, consisting of a network of inspectors, who will monitor the wearing of masks and the implementation of anti-covid measures on the ground but also indoors, named “Task Force” for health. Rama argued the establishment of this unit as a necessary measure to avoid overcrowding of hospitals and especially a second quarantine, which would have devastating consequences for the economy and citizens.

Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu said that we have three difficult months ahead, and that wearing a mask and observing protective measures is the only way to avoid the risk of a pandemic.

This task force will not have the right to impose fines, but will have an advisory and monitoring role, as well as to notify the police in cases where there are violations of protocols.
