Business community asks for increased role in legal, fiscal decisionmaking

The business community wants to get more involved in legal discussions and decisions covering primarily fiscal changes.

Albanian Center for Economic Research (ACER) in cooperation with National Business Forum (NBF) presented the National Business Agenda at a national conference, where they presented documents with the findings and issues of entrepreneurship, including four main areas in five regions of the country.

This agenda has selected about 30 barriers to doing business, which emerged as study reasons in four key areas, such as tax control, informality, VAT and Public Private Dialogue.

According to the findings, the National Business Forum has drafted recommendations that will be forwarded to the Tax Administration to improve the climate of doing business in Albania.
