Car dealers, spare parts sellers and auto repairs to be put under scrutiny for new licensing process

All companies and businesses operating in the fields of auto repair, used and new spare parts and concessionaries must be licensed to normally develop their activity.

The National Business Center issued a notice indicating that this is a legal requirement which will be extended in time and will include all the businesses of similar nature.

Currently, all these subjects categorized as auto repair, concessionaires or shops selling new or old spare parts operate without any special license and the only thing they have a registration number.

Sources at the National Business Center said to TV SCAN that registration and TIN are not the only conditions that have to be met.

According to the legal amendments, subjects should possess the following specific category of license.

In order to obtain the license, they must fulfill certain conditions among which is for the technical manager within the company.

The latter is the person who has the right experience and who guarantees the smooth running of activities, and is certified by the Directory of Road Transport Services.

Having such an expert as part of its human resources enables the subject to be licensed.

NBC stated that to cope with the volume of licensing of all existing subjects and new ones a considerable time will be put at their disposal.
