Deadline for the businesses ends – How to pay the ‘war’ salary to employees

Businesses that have not applied to receive the war salary of 40 thousand ALL for employees who have been fired will face a fine of 50 thousand ALL for each of them. The deadline set by the government, which was June 5, has expired and on Monday, the bonus will begin to be passed on to individuals who meet the criteria to benefit from it.

Beneficiaries will be given the opportunity by the tax administration to fill in their bank account details and then proceed immediately with the automatic transfer of the benefit measure. According to the normative act of the government, the subjects that will not be fined for not applying for financial assistance are those that have treated employees or former employees with full salaries.

While the possibility is created for the fined taxpayers to appeal to the tax administration, by presenting electronically, through the e-filing portal, the causes and / or reasons for non-application, no later than 30 (thirty) days from the date of communication of the fine, according to the Code of Administrative Procedures. The bonus of 40 thousand ALL is expected to help about 190 thousand employees from 176 thousand that was originally planned.
