Draft budget 2018 sees 6.3% increase in revenues, ALL 86 billion for investment

Revenues in the 2018 draft budget increase by 6.3%, while ALL 86 billion will go for public investments, mainly in infrastructure and water supply and sewerage.

Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke at the Socialist Party group meeting about the most important financial document of the Albanian state, while stressing that significant attention will be paid to the growth of exports, while there will be a downward trend as far as public debt is concerned.

Rama also focused on water reform, stressing that funding for water supply utilities will be made in relation to the performance of the latter.

According to Rama, the 2018 draft budget provides free textbooks for the first 4 years of the school system as well as foresees the reconstruction of 300 health centers.
