Exchange rate / Pound and Dollar ‘jump’ as Euro weakens

The European currency has suffered a slight drop in value this Thursday compared to the days we left behind as it was bought this morning at 122.5 lek and sold at 123 lek.

The British pound has gained 0.4 points since Wednesday, being bought this morning at 142.4 lek and being sold at 143.5 lek according to the local exchange rate.

The US dollar has also marked a strong increase compared to yesterday by 0.5 points being bought today at 101.5 lek and sold at 102.8 lek.

Referring to the domestic foreign exchange market, the Swiss franc has registered a slight decrease in value from yesterday as it is bought today at 112 lek and sold at 112.8 lek.
