Gov’t decisions: Minimum wage at 24.000, NBC service fee repealed
The government has approved two amendments related to the National Business Center. The first has to do with the improvement and simplification of procedures and work processes at this center as well as reducing the time of application.
The second is related to the repeal of the fee for services at the counters of the National Business Center.
Currently this fee, according to the decision “On approval of tariffs for functional services of the National Business Center” is ALL 100.
The Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Entrepreneurship has also proposed the creation of a Tourist Enterprise Fund.
This fund aims to provide financial assistance to the level of ALL 1 million, in the form of direct subsidies for micro and small enterprises operating in the tourism sector.
Depending on their projects, the winning applicants may cover 60 to 80 percent of eligible costs.
As it was announced earlier, this Wednesday’s meeting also approved increasing the minimum wage at the rate of 24 thousand from 22 thousand currently.
The government also decided to increase the fund of the Central Election Commission related to the electoral process in Kavaja for the new mayor and for the funding of political campaigns and parties for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
