No problems for the Russian and Chinese vaccine – Manastirliu: There are already scientific data on their effectiveness.
Parliament has approved the Normative Act that paves the way for the introduction of Russian and Chinese vaccines for COVID-19 in our country. During her speech, the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastrliu argued the change in the government’s position on the use of vaccines that are not certified by the US and European drug agency, with the fact that there is already scientific evidence proving the effectiveness of other vaccines.
Meanwhile, earlier Manastirliu and Prime Minister Edi Rama closely followed the launch of the vaccination process for teachers.
Despite the fact that the normative act was approved on Tuesday, on March 22, 10 doses of Sputnik 5 vaccine arrived in our country, as a gift from the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates, Muhammed Bin Zayed. In total, 90,325 doses have arrived in our country.
