Political class and businesses far away from sustainable dialogue: CCI’s Jaka at Argument
The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nikolin Jaka highlights the need for the political class to demonstrate more cooperation with the business community in drafting programs.
In the show Argument hosted by journalist Enio Civici, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that currently “we are at a great distance from pacts and sustainable dialogue between the political class and the enterprise as a whole”.
“There are no discussions, there are no constructive consultations with clear objectives and common goals. We have a political class that ignores private enterprise.”
“We try to have dialogue with the political class, to standardize the dialogue, and we are facing an almost absent desire from the beginning, before the campaign, because it is claimed that politics and the political formations have already made these dialogues,” Jaka said.
As for the space that proposals and demands of enterprises have found in the programs of political parties, Jaka said that not even 2 percent of them have been included in the programs.
During the interview, the head of the Chamber of Commerce stressed the need for political parties to build a sustainable dialogue with the entrepreneurship and to develop a concrete platform for their implementation.
