Public investment at ALL 2.3 bln more in the last quarter of 2016
The performance of budgetary expenditures, especially capital ones, is increasingly the focus of public opinion.
But compared to previous years, when there had been an investment shortfall, it seems that the beginning of this year has been more auspicious.
Referring to the Ministry of Finance, capital expenditures for the third quarter of 2017, represents a realization at about 9.5 billion.
Compared with the same period of 2016, this item is 31.5% higher, or about 2.3 billion more.
While viewing these data, two sides come to the fore: either there is a good management of public finances, or the fact that we are in an election year has imbued investments with efficiency.
According to the data, total public expenditure, for the third month of 2017 amounted to about ALL 91.9 billion, compared with the same period of 2016, this item remained at about 11.3 percent higher, or about 9.3 billion.
Current expenditure in relation to the quarterly plan this year resulted in ALL 82.7 billion, and compared with the same period of the previous year, this item resulted in 11.3% higher, or about 7.4 billion more.
