SCAN reveals 2018 draft budget which is expected to be approved in Parliament

The draft of the 2018 state budget has now been approved by the government and it was passed on to the Parliament for discussions in parliamentary committees.

SCAN has managed to see this draft. According to the draft, budget revenues for the coming year are projected at ALL 464.2 billion or 28.1% of the GDP, while the main share is held by the revenues from taxes and customs with All 317.1 billion.

Then come the revenues from special funds at ALL 83.4 billion, non-tax revenues at ALL 25.7 billion, while revenues from local government are planned to be ALL 18.7 billion.

According to this draft, budget expenditures for the coming year are projected at ALL 496.6 billion, or 30.1% of the GDP.

Even in this year the “lion” share is held by current expenses with ALL 407.8 billion, while capital expenditures are planned at ALL 86.1 billion or 5.2% of GDP.

The entire budget year is projected to be accompanied by a deficit of ALL 32.3 billion, or 2% of GDP.
