Study: Judges in Albania vs MP, who has the highest income in a year?

A member of the High Court in Albania is found to earn an average of over ALL 6.5 million in a year, or an average of over ALL 730 thousand per month, this average is four times higher than the wage as a judge. This figure recorded in the last report published by “Open Data Albania” where are listed judges of the High Court by the values ​​of the income declared for 2015.

Besides the wage, the income statement also included other benefits, such as university academic professional commitments or other sources of income such as royalties, interest income on bank deposits, income from rents or publications.

The report recorded that however average annual income of the high court judge in 2015 is no  higher than that of the deputies who made the analysis, reflecting an average annual income of 8.4 times higher than the the wage.
