In parallel, family and business customers have also benefited from the possibility of repayment of arrears in installments, signing deals with the water supply utilities.
According to official data, during the 3-month period, a total of 11200 deals were concluded. Meanwhile, family subscribers have some two other weeks to benefit from the “self-regulation”, as the 3-month deadline was prolonged until February 28.
During this period, these subscribers can make allegations of unlawful connection without being penalized, as defined by the legislation in power.
Meanwhile, businesses have already begun field searches for their verification.
However, they can at any time benefit from the possibility of linking to the system, to settle liabilities accrued over the years.
