Tirana-Amsterdam low-cost flights to start in May: FM
Another “low cost” flight destination has been opened in Albania.
Following flights to Budapest, low-cost flights to the Netherlands will now depart from Tirana Airport three times a week.
“Starting from May 10, company Transavia will have flights three times a week from Amsterdam to Tirana at low cost.”
The news was announced by Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati, in a press conference with his Dutch counterpart Bert Koenders, and among other things, he added that this initiative will give another boost to tourism.
On his part, Minister Koenders said that the Netherlands is the second most powerful investor in Albania.
Dutch investor interest has grown in recent years, when these investments have increased by 30 percent.
Albania remains a great attraction for investment in tourism.
The Dutch Foreign Minister, during his visit to Albania, gave his country’s support for Albania’s membership in the EU.
