Use of electronic payments – Survey in Tirana: 65% of citizens do not use banking applications, here are the reasons

About 65% of the citizens of Tirana do not use the virtual application of the bank, while the main reasons are related to lack of knowledge, lack of security to the system or that they do not consider it necessary. The data belong to a survey conducted in 2021, by the student group ABC Tirana Club, which included 350 customers in the capital.

The questionnaire also brings data on channels, where customers have received knowledge on electronic payments.

Meanwhile, according to Muka, since similar surveys have been conducted in previous years, there is an increase in electronic payments, due to the situation created by COVID-19.

The questionnaire on electronic payments was conducted in the period 14-21 May 2021.
