Vaccination starts with the second dose – Manastirliu: We have over 300 thousand anticovid vaccines
Wednesday marked the start of vaccination for COVID-19 with the second dose for the elderly over 70 years. This is because the first dose for this category was taken on March 28, while in total in the vaccination center in ‘Skënderbej’ Square are set up 2 tents with 30 vaccination points. The vaccination process with the second dose was closely followed by the Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastriliu, who informed about the current vaccination situation.
According to the Ministry of Health, the mass vaccination process is continuing with a combined calendar, for people over 60 and employees of critical services. Also, according to this department, a total of 417,146 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered, of which 322,710 vaccinations for persons over 60 years of age.
