Additional fee for foreigners – Those who will apply for electronic visas will pay 20 euros for the service
Every foreigner who will apply for an electronic visa in the Republic of Albania will pay an additional fee of 20 euros for this service. On August 27, the Council of Ministers approved several amendments to the regulation “on determining the criteria, procedures and documentation for the entry, stay and treatment of foreigners in the Republic of Albania.”
The amendments provide for the establishment of a fee for type C and D visas.
“For foreigners applying for an electronic visa type C or D, an additional (fixed) service fee is applied, of 20 euros, in addition to the visa fee,” the change stipulates.
The fee of 20 euros will be added to the costs of applying for a visa which varies depending on the country. Most tariffs range from 30 to 50 euros, while there are countries such as Belarus, Kuwait, Kazakhstan or Panama for which this tariff reaches up to 100 euros. The list also includes countries that have zero tariff, such as Algeria or Iran.
