Greece, Macedonia,Albania and Bulgaria ‘meet’ in Thessaloniki – Priority, cross-border cooperation
Cross-border co-operation and regional co-ordination in the face of challenges extending beyond the borders of the countries has been the focus of discussion at the Fourth Ministerial Meeting between Greece, Albania, Bulgaria and Macedonia in Thessaloniki .
It was held on Thursday and Friday, 22 and 23 November, attended by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Economy of the respective countries. Their discussions focused mainly on issues of common interest and developments in the region, one of which was the European perspective of the Western Balkans.
Further on, the ministers discussed the ways to further strengthen energy cooperation, as well as the ties of the four economies through improved infrastructure and the use of digital technology.
