Half of Albanian employees set their working hours by themselves: ILO survey
Almost half of Albanians in employment relations set their working hours themselves.
The most recent data published by the International Labor Organization indicate that 48% of Albanian employees choose their working hours compared to other countries considered by the ILO analysis, and no one else has such a high standard.
Turkey is the closest follower at a rate of only 34%.
The data released by this report was taken in the form of a survey, which has given more credibility to these data.
On the other hand, 45% of Albanians working seem unable to change their work schedule, as it is decided by the employer with no option of change.
This rate is not lower, but nevertheless puts Albania in the category of less conservative countries in this regard.
The remaining part, meanwhile, about 7% declare that the timetable can be changed by agreement between the two parties.
At a global level this is one of the lowest rates.
Data from the World Labor Organization indicate that, at least in this regard, the employees enjoy a sensible advantage from the employer.
