Operations at Tirana Airport are terminated – Lack of staff in the Air Traffic Control Agency

TIA announces that today, April 7, 2021, from 9.23 to 09.55, local time, operations at Tirana International Airport have been suspended due to lack of staff at the Air Traffic Control Agency.

According to the announcement, two flights have been affected by this fact, Aegean Airline with destination Athens-Tirana and Air Albania with destination Istanbul-Tirana, which will be 40 minutes late.

TIA informs Aegean Airline has returned to Athens again while operations have resumed at 09.55 and Aegean is expected to resume to bring passengers to Tirana.
