SP-DP agreement: AmCham hails move on the grounds of investors’ confidence

The agreement among the political forces in Albania not only affects the country’s stability, but also increases the investors’ confidence.

This was the comment that the President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Albania Mark Crawford made in an interview with TV SCAN.

According to him, political ease in Albania is a positive step for the region.

“For investors any news is positive if the elections are held with the participation of all parties, and if they are transparent and quiet. Ultimately, we will cooperate with anyone who Albanians elect. We, as foreign investors, wait until the situation is calm, and then invest, and for those who are here to reinvest.”

Since more than three months, the political class is “boiling” with fierce debates on elections and the situation in the country.

This has also affected the business community. Domestic and foreign entrepreneurs on many occasions expressed that this political climate is damaging Albania’s image.
