The Ministry of Finance: ‘The deadline for the revaluation of properties has been postponed, because of the COVID-19 pandemic”

The Council of Ministers has approved the proposal of the Minister of Finance and Economy, to postpone until the end of 2020 the deadline “For the assessment of Real Estate”.

The law has already been submitted to the Assembly for consideration and is expected to be approved by the deputies, by a majority of votes.

The deadline for property appraisal was set for September 30, but as the COVID-19 crisis caused problems in many state administration processes, the Ministry of Finance has offered a new solution.

The revaluation of properties is of special importance in terms of promoting formalization in the real estate market and is seen with great interest by the public.
