The second phase of vaccination starts in Shkodra – Manastirliu: After the medical staff, we start the vaccination with the homes of the elderly

The Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu together with the Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama have visited the palace of sports in Shkodra which will serve as a vaccination center.

“From today we start vaccination in the vaccination center concentrated in Shkodra where together with the regional director we have organized the start of vaccination for doctors, nurses, resuscitation workers and also Covid wards in Durres and Shkodra,” said Manastirliu.

“Today we start vaccination in Shkodra with the first 150 vaccinations and in the coming days the number of vaccinations will increase. The staff of Shkodra Hospital and Lezha Hospital will be vaccinated today. “Vaccination will also be carried out for the old people’s home in Shkodra and then there will be three more old people’s homes that will be vaccinated”, announced the minister.

Manastirliu announced that the pace of vaccinations will increase, where in Tirana 800 people will be vaccinated and then 500, then extending to the whole country.
