They attempted to cross the border with a fake COVID test – Police arrest 1 citizen and prosecute 2 Italian citizens

The State Police has informed that following the work to prevent, identify and crack down on illegality, the Border Police services of the Port of Vlora in cooperation with the Section for Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in DVP Vlora, arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen AD, 35 years old, resident in Fier and proceeded at large the Italian citizens GC, 57 years old and VB, 73 years old, resident in Italy, for the criminal offense “Falsification of health documents”.

According to the announcement, 2 Italian citizens who were going to travel to Italy were ascertained by the Border Police services of the Port of Vlora during the processing of the documentation with a falsified Covid-19 test, which are suspected to have been falsified by the citizen A. D.
