Tirana and Vlora citizens are the richest, up to 3500 euros per capita deposit
“Scan Intelligence Unit” has analyzed and processed the official data of the Bank of Albania regarding bank deposits, to understand which cities of Albania are richer and which are less rich. To reach a clear conclusion, only household deposits, both in lek and in foreign currency, were analyzed during October, and were compared with the population of that region. The Bank of Albania reports data for only 8 regions, while missing: Gjirokastra, Dibra, Kukes and Berat, which have a relatively small population. From the processing of these data, it resulted that Tirana holds the first place with more deposits per capita, full 431 thousand ALL, or 3493 euros per capita. In second place, meanwhile, with a not very drastic difference with the capital and not under the pressure of the 3rd place, follow the Vlora people, with 2985 euros deposit per capita. Durrës, meanwhile, closes the “podium”, with 2256 euros per capita. At the bottom of the ranking, meanwhile, we find the citizens of the Lezha region, with only 1315 euros in deposits per capita, or about 2.65 times less than the capitalists who hold the first place, as the richest in the republic.
