Albanian-Czech Business Forum emphasizes investments in tourism, agriculture
Czech entrepreneurs are showing increasing interest in investing in Albania especially in the fields of agriculture and tourism.
The good political relations between Albania and the Czech Republic will be an impetus for boosting economic cooperation between the two countries.
In the course of the visit of the President of the Czech Senate Milan Štěch, Tirana hosted the Economic Forum Albania-Czech Republic, where the emphasis was put on growing trade exchanges between the two countries.
Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruçi said that the Czech Republic support for Albania’s EU integration is at the same level as it was in the case of the country’s NATO membership, while reforms are a guarantee for investors.
Czech Senate President Milan Štěch assured the Czech Republic’s support for Albania in its EU integration path, while adding that the two countries’ companies have the capacity to increase co-operation.
The forum was attended by the Minister of State for Protection of Entrepreneurship Sonila Qato and Czech Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Vladimir Bartl.
At the end of this forum, a memorandum of cooperation between the businesses of the two countries was signed.
