AmCham’s Business Index 2017-2018 reveals main concerns of its members as indicators drop
The American Chamber of Commerce has presented the results of it Business Index 2017 – 2018, along with all indicators that measure the confidence of member companies in relation to key business climate parameters.
Business index has marked a slight decrease of 1.33 points, from 43.78 in 2016 to 42.45 in 2017, conclude the most recent data published by the American Chamber of Commerce.
Thus, the Business Index shows that members of the American Chamber of Commerce remain concerned about tax levels, government bureaucracy, monopolies and dishonest competition, finding local qualified staff, as well as the level of informality.
The American Business Chamber member businesses seem to have had a non-positive perception over 2017 for the domestic political climate, which has fallen by 5.08 points, and for security in the country, which has dropped by 2.37 points.
