Gov’t launches Phase III of action against informality
The government’s action against informality descends on the ground on October 1st.
The news was given a few days ago by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Arben Ahmetaj, while stating that there will be a coordination of all structures such as Taxes, Customs and Labor Inspectorate.
“From 1 October 2017, we begin the action on the ground. This is the mandate of anti-informality, we will have coordination of all structures: Taxes, Customs and Labor Inspectorate. Along with the action against informality, we undertake another important reform to facilitate the services and reduce bureaucracy for entrepreneurship and citizens,” Ahmetaj said.
Likewise, a few days ago in a letter to entrepreneurs, Ahmetaj said he would soon present a plan of measures for the continuation of the battle against informality in the economy, adding that the government will insist on the implementation of the law, guaranteeing the rules of equal rights in an open and competitive market.
In this letter, Ahmetaj also stated that the government will undertake a reform in favor of entrepreneurship for market regulation by reducing the number of permits, licenses and authorizations as well as the documents required by state offices for a service or a right.
