5 new cases of Covid – 80% of patients are recovered in Albania

In the daily communication of the Ministry of Health, it has been announced that during the last 24 hours 204 citizens have been tested where 5 new cases have been positive, bringing to 969 the total number of infected people throughout the country.

The new cases are respectively: 3 cases in Durrës, 1 case in Tirana and 1 case in Kruja.

In the last 24 hours, 13 patients have recovered, and there are still 167 active cases.

Currently, 14 patients are hospitalized in two Covid hospitals, 3 of which are in intensive care, while other cases are being monitored by the family doctor.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection appeals to citizens to continue to respect physical distance and maintain personal hygiene, as well as for the opened businesses to strictly observe safety protocols.
