Credins increases by 10% – Total assets amounted to 1.53 billion euros
Credins Bank continued to grow in the third quarter of the year. According to the financial indicators published by the bank itself, at the end of September the total assets amounted to about ALL 191 billion or about EUR 1.53 billion. On an annual basis, Credins’ assets increased by nearly 10%, thus keeping significantly higher growth rates compared to the banking sector average.
Credins is currently the third largest bank in Albania for total assets and second for the value of the loan portfolio.
Following a rapid increase in previous years, the loan portfolio this year has stabilized close to the value of about ALL 97 billion. Bank growth this year is mainly relying on low risk instruments such as debt securities or deposits in other financial institutions. These two items in the balance have increased each with about 70% compared to the previous year.
Client deposits have increased by nearly 10% compared to the previous year. At the end of September, they had a value of ALL 162 billion or about 1.3 billion euros. The bank’s financial result for the 9-month period was positive, with a net profit of ALL 164 million.
