Free legal aid for the people in need – Gjonaj: It will be extended to all cities, lawyers will be profiled according to the needs

1050 citizens received free legal aid during the Pandemic while this service for citizens in need will be extended to every city to ensure that every person has the necessary access and representation in justice. The Minister of Justice Etilda Gjonaj was part on Wednesday of an interpellation with the interest groups for the legal aid guaranteed by the state. Gjonaj said that they are working on specialization in various profiles of law to guarantee the best possible protection for citizens who benefit from the free legal aid service.

The bylaws of the law on free legal aid are currently under review, which will provide protection for those in need who have a limited appeal in justice.
