FSA: Citizens who travel to Albania with foreign license plates must have attention to Border Policies

The Financial Supervisory Authority advises citizens traveling to Albania with their foreign-owned vehicles to take care of equipping border policing. Also they have and to wait for these policies only at authorized points and by licensed agents.

These are the security elements that Border Police should have:

1. The policy series number is unique and should start with the last two figures of the current year. (Example: Year 2018 = 18xxxxxxx).
2. The border security policy is written in electronic form and in no case handwritten.
3. The policy has a unique random number identifier of the insurance policy in the online electronic register of compulsory motor insurance with security elements generated by the FSA.

The Authority has launched a joint inspection with the State Police to verify the border police for citizens entering the territory of Albania by their means. The inspection will be extended even in the days to come.
