Gov’t allocates 6.5m euro for vocational education projects
The government aims to qualify and orient towards the labor market those unemployed nationals and those who have lost their jobs.
Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy Dajna Sorensen during the presentation of the agreement for a 6m-euro grant from the German government, said that five cities were selected according to a labor market study.
The centers will provide short-term courses in different sectors.
But this was opposed by DP MP Edmond Spaho who said that fund shave led to several forms of abuse.
This agreement follows two other agreements related to the government of the Federal Republic of Germany, which involve technical cooperation between the two governments at a total value of 10.5m euros.
With this additional fund, the value reaches 16.5 million euros.
