How much capacity is there still in Albanian hospitals? The impact of the increase in COVID cases in in recent days

In the conditions of significant increase of COVID-19 infections in Albania, in Albanian hospitals it turns out that there are 20-25% of the capacities still free.

This was announced by the head of IPH Albana Fico while communicating the decision to take additional measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Albania. There are currently 406 inpatients. The percentage of loss of lives is 2.2%.

In case the hospital capacities are exhausted, then Albania will move to another scenario, where partial or total closures of the country are not excluded.
