Tax free fuel for farmers, how to get it – Equipment with NIPT and online self-declaration, the fund for 2021 is 792 million ALL
With a limit fund of about 792 million ALL, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has opened the public procurement procedure for the purchase of fuel for use by farmers in the agricultural sector. Interested companies will have until January 11 to submit their bids, while the tender documents define the exact procedures of how this scheme will work. More specifically, it is said that the beneficiary will be any farmer who owns land, owns or leases and works it, while initially he must be provided with NIPT according to current procedures, which do not burden the farmer with any kind of fiscal obligation. The online application for support for agricultural oil must then be made.
This application will be based on a self-declaration, where each farmer will declare the crops he has planted (if they are perennial) or that he will plant (if they are annual crops) for each verified parcel of land he owns or leases. The amount of oil needed for those declared areas and crops is then calculated, based on an approved norm for typical mechanized works, which will have in detail the amount of oil required for different crops, based on typology. Meanwhile, for the amount of oil that the farmer needs, according to the declaration he has made, the value of the fiscal burden that will be excluded is calculated. This excluded value is converted into quantities of oil that will be given to the farmer free of charge. So for that value that should be deducted from the price of oil, the farmer gets the equivalent amount of free oil.
