The announcement of Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Removal of restrictions does not affect Albanian citizens who will travel to Slovenia
The Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs announced in a statement that Slovenia has introduced a new regime of crossing its borders, according to which there are no facilities for Albanian citizens and other third-country nationals moving to the country.
According to the announcement, EU citizens can enter Slovenian territory from Austria, Italy and Hungary if they are not infected or have symptoms of Covid-19 and also do not undergo a two-week quarantine. Third-country nationals, including Albanians, who enter Slovenia for certain reasons, have a two-week quarantine obligation.
Albanian citizens traveling to Albania entering Slovenian territory from Austria, Italy and Hungary are prohibited from entering Slovenia unless they have previously been granted a permit approved by the border country to which they are traveling, the ministry said.
