The long-term plan of the Constitutional Court is presented – Tusha: We will increase impartiality, independence, accountability, efficiency, transparency

The Constitutional Court has drafted the first strategic document for the following years. The drafting of the Multiannual Strategic Document and the respective Action Plan was supported by the OSCE Presence, with the financial contribution of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. The head of the Constitutional Court, Vitore Tusha said during the presentation of the plan, that the Strategic Document aims to increase impartiality, independence, accountability, efficiency, transparency of the Court and access to it.

The Head of the OSCE Presence in Albania, Ambassador Vincenzo Del Monaco, said that the multi-year strategy will contribute to increasing transparency and restoring citizens’ trust in this court.

The Constitutional Court already has 7 members and awaits the completion of the panel of 9 judges at a time when due to long dysfunction a large number of cases have accumulated pending review.
