Turkey eyes record investments in Albania and 50.000 employees in Turkish companies by 2023
Turkey intends to expand investment in Albania by targeting 2023 as the year when the Turkish investments will reach a record figure and the number of Albanian employees in Turkish companies to reach 50,000.
During the conference Albanian-Turkish Relations organized by Alsar Foundation, Turkish Ambassador to Albania Murat Yoruk said that economic cooperation between the two countries is at very satisfactory levels, but there is still high potential for expansion and growth of trade volume.
Currently, Turkish investments in Albania amount to ALL 2.7 billion, while the volume of trade exchanges in 2017 has reached USD 470 million.
The conference of Alsar Foundation also emphasized good relations between the two countries in different fields.
Albania and Turkey have established a strategic partnership that aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
