Xhaçka: EU Council formally recommends Albania to list of countries that can resume free movement towards EU

The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Olta Xhaçka announces that the Council of the European Union has officially recommended Albania in the list of countries which can resume free movement towards the countries of the European Union.

According to the announcement, Albanian citizens can travel to European Union countries under the same regime as EU citizens and this is a very important development which recognizes Albania’s achievements in the fight against COVID-19.
