Business climate in Albania: 30.000 Italian businesses operating in Albania
The problems that are a concern for Italian enterprises operating in Albania has been the main topic of a meeting of the President of Confimi Industria, Paolo Agnelli, with Italian business representatives in Albania.
During the meeting, they discussed the needs of the Italian-Albanian community, which are mainly manufacturing businesses.
According to them, now it is time to leave the old ways of doing business, separately and individually.
They stressed the need for unity and for a more focused organization to meet entrepreneurial needs, with a particular emphasis on small and medium-sized companies.
Currently, this union is adapting to Albanian economic realities and in the country there are about 30,000 Italian companies, while it has set up offices across the country.
Just two months ago the General Directory of Customs signed a protocol of cooperation with Confindustria Albania, with a view to facilitating and supporting the operation of foreign companies, especially Italian ones, in the country.
According to this protocol, easing customs procedures has facilitated administrative operations of the enterprise at customs points.
