Albpetrol and two smaller companies licensed for power trading activities

The company Albpetrol sh.a. has been awarded a license for trading and supply of electricity with a term of 5 years.

The decision was published in the Official Gazette, which also stated that two other companies were licensed for energy trading.

Albpetrol filed a request to be licensed in the electricity trading activity in May this year, while the claim was reviewed a month later when it was found that the company met all the requirements foreseen by the ERE in the regulation “On Procedures and Deadlines for Issuing, Modifying, Transferring, Renovating or Removing Licenses in the Electricity Sector”, as follows:

– Application format; Legal, administrative and property documentation; Financial and fiscal documentation; technical documentation for the energy trading activity – all have been completed correctly.

According to the same conditions as mentioned above, two companies have been licensed in power trading activities, The Blue Star sh.pk and Energy to Energy sh.pk.
