Exchange rate / Pound is in a ‘free fall’, loses 3 points over the weekend. The Dollar also weakens significantly

The British pound has marked a sharp decline in value over the weekend losing 3 points since Friday last week. While it was bought this morning for 135.5 lek and sold for 136.8 lek.

The European currency, meanwhile, has registered a slight increase in the quota from last week, being bought this Monday at 123.5 lek and sold at 124 lek, according to the local exchange rate.

The US dollar also weakened drastically this beginning of the week, losing 1.3 points compared to the period from November 30 to December 4, as it was bought this morning at 102 lek and sold at 102.8 lek.

The Swiss franc has gained points again this week by strengthening by 0.3 points from Friday last week as it is bought today at 113.8 lek and sold at 114.8 lek, referring to the domestic foreign exchange market.
