Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy announces: Maritime transport will begin starting 22 June
The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy, together with the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs, has announced that it is working to enable the gradual and safe resumption of international passenger maritime transport.
Taking into account the requirements of licensed operators in passenger sea transport and the statement of the European Commission dated 11 June 2020, on the removal of travel restrictions starting from 1 July 2020, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy announces that starting from the day of Monday, June 22, 2020, all international passenger transport lines will be allowed.
The General Maritime Directorate has announced that it will monitor the implementation of all measures as well as the action plan for the implementation of the obligations provided in the Maritime Transport Operations Protocol, approved by Order No. 169, dated 5 June 2020, of the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy.
