National Plan “Albania 2030”, Ahmetaj: “0 profit tax for small businesses. VAT will also be zeroed”

The National Plan for Economic Recovery will be called “Albania 2030”, announced today the Minister of Reconstruction, Arben Ahmetaj.

The plan will have a significant impact, affecting mostly small businesses. Just as the Prime Minister announced yesterday, where businesses with a turnover of 0 -14 million ALL, will have a profit tax of 0% till 2029, thus extending the application period.

“In this way, the initiative will join state institutions for the benefit of the state budget, positively pressuring big business to be formalized every day more.” – said Ahmetaj. According to him, this is one of the first measures while other facilitation mechanisms are being considered to save businesses from the COVID-19 crisis.
